Kevin the Baby Pachyrhinosaurus: The Little Boss of the Cretaceous
Say hello to Pachyrhinosaurus canadensis—but around here, we just call him Kevin. This adorable ceratopsian roamed what is now Alberta, Canada about 73–71 million years ago, during the Late Cretaceous. Unlike its more famous horned cousins, Pachyrhinosaurus didn’t have long brow horns—instead, it sported a thick, bony boss on its nose that would grow bigger and tougher with age. Kevin may be small now, but he’s destined to grow into one seriously impressive herbivore!
